As part of the continuous expansion of development expertise, we are seeking a highly skilled machine element design engineer.
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Responsible for generation of 3D CAD models of Wind Turbine Drivetrain components and total assembly designs for the concept and detailed designs, and realization of them under consideration of manufacturing and assembly requirements.
- Responsible for the design of structural casting parts for Wind Turbine Drivetrain under consideration of casting design requirements.
- Research and realize of new concept of the cast components of Wind Turbine Drivetrain by steering international and external partners (e.g. Headquarter, Design Team, Casting Suppliers).
- Define parametric design approaches and implementation of parametric CAD models for parts and part groups.
- Execute the design and deliverables (incl. models, drawings and documentation) of assigned projects using mechanical engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements, by collaboration with drivetrain-related engineers, especially related Design and Simulation Engineers.
- Support the testing and certification of Wind Turbine Drivetrain by cooperating with manufacturing, prototype and V&V teams. E.g., planning the bench/field test and assessing the test results in collaboration with the validation and test engineers.
- Participate in the research on major quality problems of wind turbine drivetrain system of service and aftersales including root cause analysis, solutions, and other aspects.
Ihr Profil:
- Bachelor or above in mechanical engineering.
- Several years of hands-on experience in the 3D CAD design work of components and assemblies of mechanical applications, preferable in Wind Turbine Drive Trains.
- Experience in creating 3D CAD models of complex casting components, preferable in CREO.
- Experience in parametric modelling approaches.
- Experience in cross-location and cross-functional collaboration
- Intercultural competence and open mindset and willingness to work in international design teams.
- Goal-oriented, self-organized and self-motivated and fluent English in written and spoken.
