As part of the continuous expansion of development expertise, we are seeking a highly skilled machine element design engineer.
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Structure design and modelling & analysis: Concept design, detail design to design optimization of machine elements incl. the shafts, shaft/hub connections, fastener & flange connections and gears (macro- and microgeometry) in the wind turbine drivetrain system, following international and internal design guidelines
- Mechanical Modelling & Analysis: Develop and analyze models for mechanical components using KISSsoft, Masta, and Romax
- Component Optimization: Perform structural and fatigue analysis, and optimize designs based on the analysis results to improve the performance and durability of mechanical components.
- Simulation: Conduct simulations to evaluate mechanical loads, stresses, and behavior
- Technical Documentation: Generate reports and provide recommendations based on analysis results
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, and testing teams to integrate analysis outcomes into the overall product development process.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in modelling techniques and software tools, integrating them into the workflow as needed
Ihr Profil:
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Understanding of design standards, manufacturing processes, application and damage mechanisms
- Experience in using KISSsoft, Masta, and Romax for mechanical modelling and analysis
- Experience in conducting structural and fatigue analysis using advanced modelling software
- Team-oriented and self-organized working style
- Experience in cross-location and cross-functional collaboration
- Goal-oriented, self-organised and self-motivated
- Intercultural competence and fluency in written and spoken English
